Substitutes get paid the same regardless of their qualifications, so if you&#039;re accepted you&#039;ll make the same salary as all subs in the area. I would imagine, though, that a big city like Dallas will pay a bit more than the outlying areas. I&#039;m in California and substitute pay is determined by each school district. Dallas is a little more, at 85 was what I believe they were paying. However, right now- most schools no longer have sub teacher openings, you may have to wait until next fall for that.
