where is the best tent camping spots in northern new hampshire(white mountain area)?
Where is an amazing place to go camping with a tent in the white mountain area? Please help me out, ive never been up north before. Thanks!
Where to begin! There are tons of great camping in The Whites. If you are looking for more campground-style tenting then look at Lafayette Place Campground in Franconia Notch State Park. Greta are for hiking, camping and anything else outdoors.
If you’re looking for something more wilderness/backcountry try 13 Falls Tentsite or Liberty Springs Campsite. Both are wilderness camping which requires a bit of a hike to it but its worth it.

Anything off of the Kancamagus Highway -Rt 112 Lincoln to Conway -is good
Dolly Copp CG on rt 16 just south of Rt 2 is good if you want to hike the Presidentials.
