What is the weather like in New Hampshire mountains in the month of May?
Anxious to go back to New Hampshire and explore more of the mountain area I loved so much. I am wondering if it’ll be too cold in May? I went in late-fall last time and it was surprisingly pleasant weather.
The weather will be warming up. Early May could be coolish, but not snowing and bitter cold if that is what your worried about. By late May the weather will be summer like. The biggest weather risk in my opinion is that we get one of those 4 day long cloud burst rain storms that seem to have become popular the last couple of years. That could happen any month, we just had one last night.
The worst part of spring in this part of the country is the black flies.
