Digital box for use in mountains area of south wales? near brecons?

I am moving near the brecons in south wales shortly and Id like to ask what sort of digi box I need for the area? I was told freeview isnt avialable there but they have something simmilar and you can get a box to recieve free channels? does anyone know what kind of box it is? I dont want to take out a subscription to watch telly.

Until freeview comes to wales the only digital format is Sky in the area. You can get an aerial specialist who can fit a powerful aerial to lock onto the Bristol aerial but it will cost you a lot of money and then you can only use a freeview box. As freeview is coming in next year to Wales why not wait a few months or subscribe to Sky
