Black male here; 23; 5'9; 140; caramel; I already have my Associate's degree and am working on my Bachelor's in journalism or advertising. I paid my own way as all African American middle-class have to do but unfortunately I won't be perceived as paying my own way because the white community is very stereotypical and thinks that all black get affirmative action (that whites also are eligible for) even though it's solely lower-class blacks. Affirmative action is in no way a reparation for the 5 century long era of anti-black atrocities ending 35 years ago that the white race put blacks though

I used to be a Political Science major

Then I switched to History

>> I kind of miss being a political junkie because it always shocked people. I remember guys liking that I could talk politics and I even helped on the Obama campaign and I met him once & the Congresslady representing my district in Washington! Now I don’t pay attention to any of that stuff. lol.

I'm getting my gen eds out of the way right now, and I'm going to declare a major when I transfer. I'm either going into marketing, or biology. I know that if I major in marketing, it will be easier to get a job afterwards. But I want to major in biology because I love animals.
