How can I found out list of major employers in a particular area that I never visit.?
I’m thinking about relocating in the near future. I like to get to know the major employers so I can see what job opportunites are out there & do some research before I visit. Are there any websites also that discuss jobs/careers & relocation. If anybody know please let me know. I’m still interested in gettting list of major employers.
Go to your favorite Public Library, the research department and
look into the Reference USA database. There you can get companies by SIC or NAICS code or by Zip Code etc. You can also access this information if you have a library card via the web if your library has a web site.

You can usually find the information that your looking for on the web by typing in the city and then drilling down through the assorted answers that come up. Most cities have a chamber of commerce that can also help. Good Luck
