What are some good areas in the Atlanta area suburbs to live for good public schools and family life?

I can afford the most expensive areas in the metro area, what are some good areas in the suburbs of Atlanta.

The place I work is in Dunwoody, Georgia

My choices would be Gwinnett County or northern Fulton County.

c. Urban areas typically have levels of air pollution that are significantly higher than those found in surrounding rural areas. Identify a characteristic of the urban microclimate that leads to higher levels of air pollution.

d. Identify and describe one way in which the local hydrologic cycle of urban areas differs from that of rural areas.

a. Urban areas tend to be hotter than rural ones, known as the heat island effect.
b. Areas of dark asphalt in urban areas absorb much more heat than soil, as does metal and stone. In addition, human habitations in urban areas are heated so there is more heat production in urban areas, where houses etc are more common.
c. cars cause much of the urban pollution, so do chimneys or smokestacks.
d. In urban areas, less water is absorbed by the ground; extensive pavement leads to significantly higher runoff.

Where are the nicest and safest areas in Greeley Colorado to live?

My husband and I are planning on moving to Greeley, CO in the next month for my job. I was hoping to get some information on the nicest areas to live in and the areas to avoid. Are there any "artsy" areas with fun restaurants, trendy bars, shopping, gyms etc… and a larger concentration of young professionals? Which areas are known for crime? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Greeley isn’t as big as you must think it is, the whole town is pretty much the same and very rural except for UNC.

I have to do an experiment for my ecology class, and I want to compare something in two different areas. The example was comparing spider composition in a wooded area versus a field area. I am trying to think of other types of areas other than "wooded" or "field" that I could potentially use. Thank you!

I’m planning on moving toNorth Carolina in a month and was wondering if someone could tell me what areas/cities are good to live in. I don’t have a job lined up and want to move to a place where (1) the cost of living is reasonable (2) is safe (3) where I can find a job!

I hear that Raleigh is my best bet but I’m not sure what parts of Raleigh are a good match for me. If you know of any other cities in NC that are good, please let me know!!!

Raleigh is the capital and the second largest city in the state of North Carolina. This is my favorite place to live there are some reasons behind this.
Uptown Raleigh: It is a best place to live and to get job also because this is residential and commercial place. Crabtree Valley Mall is the anchor of the area. That is a safe area also.
House prices are also not so high.

Crime: Average crime in this area is less than U.S. average. So this is safe area also.

Job : This is a commercial area so you can get a job easily.

What areas according to feng shui I need to activate in order to find a job, and most important – what’s the best way to activate them according to you?

The areas of the bagua (link #3) that you may want to enhance would be:

–Reputation/Fame
You can enhance these areas for the entire house, the lot, each room and for your desk. Choose objects, colors or shapes that represent the elements for the area you are working with. For instance your career area is represented by the element of water. The color associated with water is black. A fountain or water feature, picture of running water, aquarium, etc. could be used in the career area. Use things that have meaning for you and symbolize the feeling of having that new job like hanging diplomas in the fame area.

Another area that is important is the front door to your home. Make sure it is in good repair, easy to open and close, clean — you could even paint it. The color red attracts chi and is activating. This will support opportunities coming through your door. Also keeping the house clutter free, especially your desk is a good idea too.

What are some reasonably nice areas to live in the Phoenix area?

I’d be renting an apartment, nothing really upscale but somewhere decent. I’ve read there are a few areas to avoid, but any recommendations on good places to be? Preferably somewhere with something to do.

I haven’t ever been to Phoenix but when I was looking for my new place in a new city I found www.forrent.com really useful. They have something called a walk score that gives you an idea of what is near each apartment, like coffee places and grocery stores. How to darken up overexposed areas in a photograph using photoshop?

I have a photo inside a church, and i noticed that some areas where overexposed especially on open doors and windows because of the sunlight. I wanted to darken those overexposed areas only not the whole photograph. Thank you.

Most of chicago is perfectly safe. Stay out of englewood, garfield park, and lawndale and you will be fine. Mount greenwood is probably the safest part of the city, as most cops and fireman live there.
