C = Pie R Squared.(C=Pi R2) , check out the formula, yours is wrong!    A = Pie R Squared (A = Pi R2). Does that help. That's how I remembered it.
References :
1951 Elementary 5th Grade Math Teacher..That's been 58 years ago.

thats simple.. stand in your front door, wallk 100 steps forward, jump 1.5 times, turn arround. go back 50 steps. lie down until a dog pees on you, stand walk 25 steps then crawl back to your house. go to ur kitchen and get a jug of milk, then drink half a gallon of water( water ok? not milk) then go to ur room and say c=2Pir and you will remeber all the things you will see for the next 40 days
References :
You can make Circumference into Pi D, where D is diameter, so that you can memorize only two things.

Alternate way: Just memorize area: pi r squared. Then, for circumference, pull the 2 in front. You get the circumference formula.

Alternate 2: In Area, the 2 is the exponent, in circumference, the 2 is the coefficient.
References :
A friend of mine told me a good one for remembering circumference:

C=2pi(r) is also the same thing as C=pi(d) ... d is diameter, which is the same as 2r
So, she said "Cherry Pie is Delicious" for circumference.
References :
I think if you get a tattoo of the formula on the back of your hand you're golden.
